DescriptionTaft Junior College was established on August 30, 1922, as part of the Taft Union High School District.
Classes were first held on the high school campus.
The school title officially became Taft College on July 1, 1954, and in September of 1956, a separate campus opened in the current location at 29 Cougar Court adjacent to the high school.
The West Kern Community College District was later formed and is a single-college district under the guidance of a five-member Board of Trustees.

Responsibilities:
Answer customer support calls and redirect/escalate as necessary, including resolving technology problems via telephone or on-site troubleshooting relating to the use of online systems and their applications.
Assist ITS staff with resolving and managing tickets in the ITS ticket tracking system and logging calls and requests for user support.
Assist district ITS staff by imaging computers of all types including workstations, laptops, iPads, and Apple-platform equipment.
Assist district ITS staff with the setup and delivery of computers and related technology equipment.
Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technology problems including basic user authentication and system access issues.
Assist ITS staff with Installing, configuring, and managing software and their functions according to specifications Assist with the inventory management and maintenance of ITS equipment.
Assist in maintaining and updating user profiles.
Assist district ITS staff to resolve printing issues including toner replacement and related troubleshooting tasks.
Support onsite classrooms and other technology Assumes additional responsibilities as may be determined by the department Provide an excellent customer experience Requirements:
Currently enrolled in a minimum of 6 units, in good standing, with Taft College.
Student must remain enrolled and in good standing during employment.
RequirementsAdditional Requirements:
Beginning-level experience with computer systems.
Beginning-level experience using Microsoft Office Flexibility in performing assigned tasks Willing to work as a team member Experience in customer service Recommended Skills Customer Experience Customer Service Imaging Information Technology Maintenance Microsoft Office Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
